Nicola Bruce is the winner of the award and Zach Mowbray is presenting a gift certificate from Canadian Tire.

The November 'Youth of the Month' has been chosen from the Saugeen Youth Coalition (SYC).

Saugeen Youth Coalition and Canadian Tire of Port Elgin have combined to recognize youth that are active in the community with groups/volunteer work. The organization encourages 'youth to nominate youth' and then the SYC makes the final decision for the winner of the month from the applications received. Mike from Canadian Tire has agreed to give each winner a $100.00 gift certificate.

In addition, the SYC is hosting the 3rd annual Youth Summit on November 20th at the Bruce County Museum. They are hoping to have 70 youth and adults attend. The event features a guest speaker on Friday night and work shops on Saturday.
