File Count Exceeds 20,000

The Saugeen and Kincardine Times along with CCNews have now reached well over 20,000 files including articles, videos and pictures.  It's local history captured for the future.

CCNews alone gathers over 300 articles moment by moment from world sources.  These are changing every few minutes across the globe.  We are not counting these files.

We have not counted how many links we have to other parts of the vast data pool that the Internet now has.    It certainly is the richest ground for information ever in the history of mankind and growing at a terrific rate with Asia and Africa leading the way.

Can we keep track of these files?  You bet!  Computers are good at keeping track of things.

How's our backup?  That's good too.  We maintain copies of our files in 4 places and 3 geographic locations.

We've come a long way.  We have audio, video and information of all sorts.  It's a great feeling to be unencumbered by pages that can't link and false deadlines.

The Internet has a very rapid heartbeat and it's getting stronger and stronger.  If you are reading this, you can hear it, if you turn up your speakers
