The judges faced some fine talent at the Tiverton Idol event Sunday
afternoon at the Tiverton Reunion.
Several hopefuls sang in the two categories: 11-16 age group, and 17
and older, while judges David Khan of Kincardine, Lindsay Riggin and
James Ramage of Tiverton, and Lynn Campbell of CrazyMaker, listened
and offered constructive criticism.
There were a few technical glitches, but the majority of the entries
were inspiring, especially 15-year-old Faith Waddell of Tiverton,
Guy Martin of Tiverton, and Kris Senicar of Inverhuron.
Sunday kicked off with the Tiverton Firemen hosting breakfast at the
Whitney Crawford Community Centre, followed by worship services at
Knox Presbyterian Church and the Baptist Church.
Children's events included pony rides and a petting zoo, inflatable
fun park, Dickie Bird, and games provided by the Kincardine
Recreation Department.
Besides the Tiverton Idol, there were a euchre tournament and a
pulled pork barbecue in the afternoon. The evening ended with an
open air dance to Left Turn Clyde, and fireworks at dusk.
The reunion closed Monday afternoon.
