Fall Fair Coming

Tiverton News

(continued)

The assembly of the fairgrounds is well under way for the Tiverton Fall Fair this weekend (Oct. 2-3).

The ambassador committee has a line-up of seven contestants and the competition is Friday night at 8 p.m. in the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, along with the pie and cake auction.

Saturday holds many events, including breakfast, parade at noon, tea in the afternoon or Bavarian gardens, needle in the haystack, petting zoo, and the dance sponsored by Steelback. Come out and have fun.

Bill, Chrystal and Brandon Campbell travelled to Calaboogie for a weekend away and to attend a wedding there.

Tiverton Communities in Bloom will be hosting an Information Meeting on Oct. 8 at the Tiverton Lions Hall at 7:30 p.m. All current and new volunteers must attend. We will be discussing the future of Tiverton CIB and the possibility of losing flowerbeds due to the lack of volunteers. For more information, contact Laurie Convay.
