The Knox Presbyterian Church will be celebrating its 150th anniversary on Oct. 17-18.

The Tiverton and District Fire Department held its draw on Sunday at the Fire Hall in Tiverton. Dorie Berndt and Randy Roppel pulled the winning names for the following prizes: Generator – Greg Ferguson of Inverhuron, Sony TV – Paul MacKinnon, Saugeen Shores, and GPS - Jordan Quipp.

The Tiverton Agricultural Society euchres may be cancelled due to the declining attendance of last spring. We are thinking of changing the euchres to the third Monday of the month starting at 1:30 pm. We would like to know if this would work better. If you are interested, contact Mary Young at 519-368-7714 or Bonnie Plater at 519-368-2136 as soon as possible. If there is not enough interest, the euchres will not be held.
