There will be a fall rummage sale at Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, Thursday, Oct. 29, from 1-7 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon. Perhaps you can find your Halloween costume there.

Looking for somewhere for supper on Nov. 3? Knox Presbyterian Church Harvest Supper (barbecued chicken) will be held that evening, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre – adults, $15; children under age 12, $5.
The agricultural society euchre party winners were George Ribey with high score, Verna Munro with low score and the most lone hands went to Marlene White. The next euchre will be on Monday, Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome and there is a light lunch served.

The annual Lions Christmas Bazaar is Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton. Lunch available, admission is free.
Knox Presbyterian Church will be hosting a homemade soup luncheon, Monday Nov. 9, at noon in the church activity room. Admission is by goodwill offering only.

Sympathy is extended to the friends and family of Brian Currie of Southampton who passed away from leukemia on Sept. 29.

The Tiverton Baptist Church is hosting a "Christmas Ladies Night Out" on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Organizing and time management specialist Phyllis O'Reilly will be giving a presentation on managing the Christmas season with all its demands. Melanie Pyke and store manager Jennifer from Home Hardware will be making a Christmas craft with us. Refreshments will be served. There is no cost and all ladies are most welcome to attend.
