There will be a rummage sale at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, Thursday, Oct. 29, from 1-7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 30, from 10 a.m. to noon. If you have any seasonal clothing, bedding, linen, books, or jewellery that you wish to donate, you may leave it at the church on Monday, Oct. 26, and Tuesday, Oct. 27. The side door of the church will be open.

Happy Birthday to one of the newest residents in Tiverton, Steve White. He and Barb Simmons have moved into a farm on the 2nd of Bruce.

Another birthday celebration that took place this weekend was for Len Guse who joined the others on the Forty List.

Tiverton Park Manor Ladies Auxiliary is looking for volunteers to assist with the monthly entertainment at the manor. Duties would include, assisting residents to and from the functions, serving refreshments and cleaning up. For further details, contact Karen Ballok at Tiverton Park

Wondering what to do with all those fall leaves? The Communities in Bloom committee is asking all Tiverton residents to take their bagged raked leaves to the municipal shed in the village. We will be using these for compost in the village flowerbeds.

The Lions Annual Christmas Tea and Bazaar has a few tables left for rent. If you are interested, contact Gerda at 519-368-7792 or Judy at 519-368-7729. The bazaar will be held Nov. 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.
The Tiverton Friendly Folk are hosting a euchre party at the Lions hall on Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
