The Old Diggers Mushball is fast approaching, set for the weekend of July 10-12. The price is still 125 and to register a team, contact Mike Catto at 519-368-7699. Chrystal and Caleb Campbell traveled to London on the weekend to attend the First Communion of her niece, Hailey Whyte. Also attending the ceremony were Hailey’s grandparents, Glenda and Bob Webster of Kincardine. Sympathy from the community is extended to the family of Tricia Oates (nee Leis) of Paisley as she lost her battle with cancer last week. There will be a celebration of Tricia’s life at the Hallman Chapel at the Chesley Lake Camp, RR 3, Allenford, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, for family and friends. Everyone had a great time at the stag and doe for Sam Bonnett and Troy Elliott. Little Jack had a blast playing with Auntie Harv. 25/05/2009 07:40 PM |
Gaberiel Riley and the Ontario Provincial Police wish to express their appreciation to everyone who supported the Change Bandit efforts! Gaberiel surpassed his goal and the entire OPP team raised close to $10,000. The infant transport system will be purchased as the goal of $180,000 was exceeded! Next year the OPP Communications Centre will be back at it and anyone interested in becoming a Change Bandit can contact Gaberiel's mom Jennifer at mrs.jennifer.riley@gmail.com for more information. Anyone can be a Change Bandit and we encourage schools and service groups to join our team next year! The Riley family is happy to report that Gaberiel is happily playing and stable in hospital in London still. His family is looking forward to him coming home in the near future, but for now Gaberiel is starting with short day trips and walks outside the hospital. |
