The Bluezone Campers enjoyed a great weekend participating in the maiden voyage of the Black Pearl Camper. The Pirate themed weekend was hosted at the home of Bill and Nan Tennyson where everyone had a lot of laughs and no one had to walk the plank. Eleanor Convay, Jim, Rose Marie and Amy Young, Laurie and Olivia Convay, Susan Campbell and Kerri Rice along with Julia and I travelled to Toronto to take in Riverdance, the farewell tour on Saturday. The Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Ladies Aid thanks all who have donated food to the church supper over the years and there are many containers that are still waiting to be picked up. The group would appreciate it very much if these lost containers could be retrieved. Please remember to take a look for your containers at the church. The next church supper will be on July 14. Also mark on your calendars Oct. 18 for the 150th anniversary of Knox Presbyterian Church in Tiverton. The church is hosting a barbecue and fun activities for everyone to help celebrate. The next Tiverton Agricultural Society meeting will be at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre on June 16 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. If anyone is available to volunteer a few hours on Oct. 2 to help out at the fair, contact any member of the society or Audel Tuft at 519-368-7325 or Dianne Todd at 519-368-7114. 08/06/2009 09:31 PM |
