Manor Musings Tiverton Park Manor will be hosting an open house June 25 from 1-5 p.m. We will be having tours with tea and refreshments and a Tai Chi demonstration. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy and bring a friend. The Manor would like to welcome two new residents, Rita Fiddler and Earl Mountain. The Manor also appreciates the Ladies Auxiliary for all its hard work in keeping the residents entertained. The auxiliary welcomes anyone who is interested in becoming a volunteer. Volunteers assist in the monthly events for the seniors hosted by the auxiliary. Tiverton Park Manor invites everyone to the grand opening on July 4 from noon to 4 p.m. to celebrate the addition of 25 much-needed rooms. Come and enjoy the barbecue and refreshments. Old Boys and Girls Reunion The Tiverton Old Boys and Girls Reunion Committee appreciate all who have supported us over the past few weeks. The reunion committee is holding a contest to paint 10 garbage cans in the reunion colors: red, black, white and gold with a local theme. The cans need to be painted by Friday, July 3, and they will be judged after that. First prize $100, 2nd prize $75, 3rd prize $50. The painted cans will be placed in prominent locations in the village over the reunion weekend. Cans, paint and brushes will be provided. First come first served. Happy Birthday Penny. Also, last week Lorna Hutton turned 50. Happy Birthday Lorna. The Old Diggers Mushball is fast approaching, set for July 10-12.
