The Tiverton Library is holding a "Book Sale" for the month of August. Come in and browse.

We will be starting our children's program in September. If you are interested, drop in and register or phone 519-368-5655 for more information.

A reminder to all the kids to get their posters ready, advertising the Tiverton Fall Fair, and hand them into the library by Sept. 5, no later. The poster size is a minimum 8.5" x 11", maximum 12" x 18"; posters must be mounted on black bristol board with a two-inch border. There are two classes: Youth, up to Grade 6, and Youth, Grades 7-12.

Some of the Bluezone Campers took in the NASCAR race in Brooklyn, Michigan - a great time was had by all.
The results from the Reunion Parade are as follows: Best Commercial – Salon 56, Best Organizational – Municipality of Kincardine, Best Historical – The Convays, Best Family – The Craigs, and Judge’s Choice went to the B Line. The dignitaries for the decades who were able to ride on the float were: 1910s – Elsie Cottrill and Irene Bradley, 1920s – Handsome John Taylor, 1930s – Dashing Merv Catto, 1940s – Dennis “my favourite” Todd, 1950s – Ken Young, 1960s – Kevin Carr, 1970s – Kelly Robertson, 1980s Mark McPherson, and 1990s – Cheyenne Hunter.

Doug and I, Bobbi and Dave Patterson, and Kelly and Jim Robertson met with Steve & Jen Beisel and Warren & Laura Beisel for a nice birthday supper for Jen and Warren who celebrated their birthdays this weekend.
