What would you do if your spine wore out? Obviously, after the fact,
there is not much you can do. From the moment that we’re born the
DESTRUCTIVE forces of nature are CONTINUALLY wearing out our bodies to
some degree. Why do some of us and some systems of our bodies suffer
deterioration faster than others ? This depends on many factors,
genetics, stress (physical, emotional and chemical), injury work, etc.
We are limited in what we can do to minimize the effects of these
factors. Gravity alone is 90% of the physical stress our bodies have to
deal with at any given time. So, the best way to deal with this problem,
is PREVENTION. 25/02/2009 10:55 PM

The spine is an ESSENTIAL part of the
neuromuscloskeletal system. It gives the body structure, form and
movement and it protects the MOST important organ system of the body –
THE NERVOUS SYSTEM. Your Nervous System is made up of the brain (your
computer), the spinal cord and its peripheral nerves that are the
COMMUNICATION system for the ENTIRE body. Breathing, eating ,drinking,
talking ,walking, crying ,laughing, holding a child, playing sports,
making love and flossing your teeth, are actions which are ULTIMATELY
controlled by the nervous system. |
