Southampton gets roadside Mail Boxes

Between Canada Post and the Town of Saugeen Shores, an agreement has been reached to install roadside community mail boxes in Southampton.

The decision was made due to the lack of space at the Southampton Post Office given the development that has occurred. Nine locations were chosen by Saugeen Shores' CAO, Ron Brown working with Canada Post. "I met with Canada Post and co-operatively selected sites that would satisfy the Town's needs as well as create as little impact as possible on neighbouring residents."

Canada Post will undertake the installation, relocation, snow removal and liability of the locations.
