The Sisterhood of the Travelling Shoes
The Women's House of Grey Bruce is presenting what can only be described as a powerfully moving exhibit at the Southampton Art School.

The Sisterhoood of Travelling Shoes memorial is a testament to, and reminder of, the abuse still being generated toward women and children.

The exhibit consists of many pairs of shoes in all sizes but what makes them special is that they are accompanied by moving accounts of situations from which their owners had no escape, except one.

This is an exhibit that should not be missed and Sunday is the last day before it moves on to Kincardine, where it will be featured in the Scougall Art Gallery for four days and then on to Markdale.
