Shifting Gears in the Niftie 50s at the Museum

Antique Car Collection consists of hundreds of mint-condition models

The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton is about to travel back into the 1950s.

The Niftie 50s - when cars had tail fins, girls wore saddle shoes and crinolines, TV trays came into being and Kraft Dinner became a diet staple.

The music was the beginning of rock 'n' roll with performers like Elvis and The Four Seasons. It was a time when teens began to explore their youth and parental guidance became a challenge.

Now, the Niftie 50s will be back at the Bruce County Museum on Saturday, November 7th with music, cars, food and plain nostalgia. Get out your 'poodle skirt' or your saddle shoes and dance the night away at the Museum.

Phone (519) 797-2080 top reserve tickets or for more information.
