Huge potholes make it tough for motorists along South Street beside KDSS

Rough section of road under construction in April

The rough roadway along South, William and Charles Streets, just north of Kincardine District Secondary School, will be under construction by next month.

Kincardine public works manager Jim O'Rourke says Omega Contracting is expected to start on the next phase of the Huron Ridge project before the end of March, which will see reconstruction of Inverness South, Inverlyn Crescent South, and Gingras Street. Tenders close April 1 for the next phase of Huron Ridge.

A site meeting with Omega will be held for South, William and Charles Streets and work will begin there in early April, said O'Rourke.
