Rain holds off for mammoth parade in Ripley

The sky was overcast Saturday but the Ripley-Huron Fall Fair mammoth parade went like clockwork without a drop of rain to dampen anyone's spirits or the myriad of entries.
The Lucknow Pipe Band led the parade which included horses, clowns, horse-drawn wagons, Shriners, BMX racers, and characters of every description dressed up in honour of the fair's theme, "Have a Beary, Berry Good Time at the Fair." There were many floats, as well as miniature horses, mules, and antique cars, trucks and tractors.
The crowd lined the route three or four deep to watch the fabulous parade.
