Remembrance Day services in Kincardine, Tiverton and Ripley

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183, Kincardine, is holding Remembrance Day services in Kincardine and Tiverton this year.



The Tiverton service will be held this Sunday, Nov. 8, at Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, at 10:30 a.m., followed by the laying of wreaths and a moment of silence at the Tiverton Cenotaph. Lunch to follow at the church; elevator available.

The Kincardine service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Kincardine Legion Hall, at 10 a.m., followed by a Cenotaph service, laying of the wreaths, and a moment of silence. A meal will follow, free to all marchers and volunteers; there is a $5 fee for others who wish to enjoy lunch at the Legion.
 


The community of Tiverton is also holding a Remembrance Day service on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 12:15 p.m. Meet at the Cenotaph on Main Street.

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron, is holding a Remembrance Day service on Wednesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 10:45 a.m. with a march from the Legion Hall to the Cenotaph. The service begins at 11 a.m., followed by the laying of wreaths. The Ripley-Huron Community School band and students are major participants in this service.
