Roll call was answered by members: "What do you do to soothe your soul?" Fran Farrell gave a report on the area convention and rally. Deanna Scott was convener and introduced Lola Murphy of the Canadian Mental Health Association. Lola spoke of mental health issues and services provided by the association, and provided members with printed information on various topics. She also talked about the 211 service which puts people in contact with various government programs. She was thanked by Deanna and presented with a gift. Tracey Howe of the Huron-Kinloss office also spoke to the group about having an emergency kit available at all times. She provided a list of things to include in the kit. It certainly was a timely topic with winter approaching and the storms we have. Grace was sung and lunch was provided by Shirley MacDonald and Judy Thompson.
