It's that time of year again when all thoughts turn to gardening and the Propeller Club of Southampton, made up volunteers, is once again holding their annual plant sale to raise funds.

The 5th Annual Sale, which will be held at 'The Boathouse' adjacent to the Coliseum arena in Southampton on the afternoon of May 24th, features plants donated by residents throughout the community.

 The funds raised always go back into community beautification and, this year, the group is pondering the possibility of working with the students of G.C. Huston Public School, who have initiated a program to improve the environment that borders Fairy Lake, located behind the school and Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.

The Club volunteers are always looking for more plants for the sale and anyone interested in donating should phone 529-797-1949.
