Volunteers worked to tag each plant with planting and growing details

Under the umbrella of the Southampton Propeller Club, a giant plant sale was held Sunday afternoon.

Hundreds of plants of every variety were donated for the event as volunteers worked to tag each one.

The group is looking at contributing funds raised to the local public school, G.C. Huston, for its environmental beautification of Fairy Lake located behind the school and the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.

A final tally from the sale is to be determined.
