Despite cloud and a slight drizzle, the annual Saugeen First Nation
Pow Wow went ahead as planned.
There was a large turnout with participants coming from throughout
Ontario and the United States to take part in the traditional
celebrations and dancing competitions. Visitors enjoyed food of
every description and the many vendors on the Pow Wow grounds also
proved to be popular.
Day two carries on tomorrow with a parade at 1:00 p.m. at the James
Mason Centre at the Saugeen First Nation on Hwy. 21 adjacent to
Southampton, Ontario
