Post Cards capture history

Ross King & Bill Pace will talk about their experiences collecting post cards. Each has had years of experience tracking down post cards related to their interests.

Ross King has collected over 300 post cards just of the Chesley area in his 20 plus years with the hobby. He is an avid post card collector and dealer. He is always glad to be able to share his collection and is looking forward to speaking at the Bruce County Historical Society Meeting. He is now retired but was a teacher and sits on the Bluewater District School Board.

Bill Pace is interested in all types of history from Kincardine and surrounding areas. He collects not only post cards but pins, bottles, souvenirs and more.

The BC Historical Society invites everyone to attend this open meeting and others coming up in the future. Bring local post cards from your own collection and have them appraised by Ross King.

The Bruce County Historical Society would like people to bring their local post cards for the Historical Society to borrow for use in their upcoming book – A Pictorial History of Bruce County Volume II.
