Phil Eagleson Appointed Acting Fire Chief

Saugeen Shores officially appointed Philip (Phil) Eagleson as Acting Fire Chief with the passing of a By-law at the recent Town Council meeting.

Eagleson assumed the position unofficially when Fire Chief, Bruce Fenton, was required to take a leave of absence due to health reasons.

According to Mayor Smith, "Phil has carried on the duties of Acting Fire Chief admirably and, therefore, this a natural progression."
