New owners, Vicki & Rob Rogers, served up burgers at their Kincardine store

The owners, Vicki and Rob Rogers, may be new but the comfortable atmosphere of an old-fashioned apothecary continues at Gordon Pharmacy in Kincardine while their second store, Wardrop Pharmacy in Port Elgin, is about to get a new look.

The Rogers have taken over the operation of both Pharmasave locations, working with their partners from Woodstock and Port Rowan. "We are very excited about living here," says Vicki Rogers. "Living right on a lake is absolutely wonderful."

Also available are the popular Country Home Candles, Gourmet Village products, Bizoux Bizoux and Lang mugs.

On the health care side, Pharmasave provides a wide variety of name-brand and store-brand products and has pharmacists on hand to help with prescription needs. There are also diabetes consultants, a medications check service, compliance packages and a free prescription delivery service. In addition, there is a certified fitter on staff to help clients with the Sigvaris compression stockings.

In addition, both stores also accept Sears cards for purchases.

The Kincardine location is open Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the Port Elgin store is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
