These photos have circulated on the Internet as being from one sailor
using a Brownie Camera. They are actually photos taken by a number
of people from different perspectives on the same day and have been
available for a long time. In any event, they show the tremendous
damage sustained on December 7, 1941. If the Fleet Aircraft
Carriers had been in port on the morning of December 7, then the war's
progress would have taken another path.
