OPG Explains Deep Geologic Repository

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) held another in its series of information open houses regarding the deep geologic repository (DGR) project underway at the the Bruce Nuclear site for the storage of low and medium nuclear waste.

The session was held at the Colonial Inn in Port Elgin where the public had the opportunity to ask questions on a one-to-one basis with experts about the project.

"This is part of the Environmental Assessment (EA)," explained Marie Wilson of OPG.  "It gives people another chance to come in and talk to us in an informal setting."

The next open house will be held November 10th at the Best Western Inn on the Bay in Owen Sound.
