Bruce Township Laneways and Landmarks, compiled by the Township of Bruce Historical Society, is scheduled for launch on June 12, 2009 at the annual dinner meeting.

The content is basically new material, documenting ownership of each farmstead from earliest records to October 2006 and including pictures and narratives for each property where available.

This book has been a “work in progress” for some years through the Co-operation of the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, the Walkerton Land Registry Office and the Bruce County Historical Society.

Countless volunteers and the society’s directors have laboured intensively in utilizing local resources to make this publication a reality. The Township of Bruce Historical Society directors sincerely appreciate the efforts of all in its production.
