For years, Europeans have been using appliances that are energy efficient, convenient, sleek and modern enough to be part of a room's decor.  Why not?  In candy apple red, navy or mint green, appliances are now available in a rainbow of colours.

Now, these same appliances have come to Saugeen Shores at Square Deal Neil's in Southampton.

Front loading washers and dryers by manufacturers, such as Electrolux and Whirlpool, not only take the drudgery out of doing laundry, they reduce water and detergent consumption resulting in cost savings for users.

Whirlpool has, in fact, come out with energy saving products that have earned it the Energy Star Excellence Award. 

One of the most recent innovations and exclusive to Whirlpool is the enviro-friendly 'Duet' Steam Dryer.  It eliminates odours, such as those caused by smoking, and wrinkles and refreshes fabrics in minutes without washing.

Candy Apple Red Energy Savers

One of the most recent innovations and exclusive to Whirlpool is the enviro-friendly 'Duet' Steam Dryer.  It eliminates odours, such as those caused by smoking, and wrinkles and refreshes fabrics in minutes without washing.

  It also removes tough stains by using high temperature steam and sanitizes towels and sheets without bleach.  The new Ultra Capacity Plus washer also uses less water and cleans up to 16 pairs of jeans in one load.  With the aging population, Whirlpool also understands that there are those who may have difficulty bending and lifting and, therefore, have come up with the solution - the units can be mounted on pedestals to raise them to a comfortable level.
