Many Scots settled in the Southampton area and, on Tuesday night July 16th at the Presbyterian Church, almost two hundred came to hear the music of Scotland.

In support of the Southampton 150th Anniversary, the concert, "Familiar Places', was a blend of Celtic and Folk music that was lead by Highland piper Alexander Loucks.

Many traditional Scottish selections by the Presbyterian choir also featured guest artists that included, Rob Tite on the clarinet, vocalist Meghan DeJager a Celtic harp medley by Sharon, Emily and Katie Johnson and several others.

The tunes were familiar to most of the audience as they proved by participating in the singing of many of the selections.
