Ever had a drink of dinosaur water? Well, this winter you'll be able to get your thirst for knowledge and dinosaur water quenched with the arrival of a travelling exhibit at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre in Southampton, Ontario, called, We All Live Downstream: The Story of Canada's Water. Port Elgin’s Meridian Credit Union sponsors this exhibit.

The dinosaur water is part of the exhibit, which illustrates that the water consumed today has been around for billions of years and shared through the water cycle by plants, animals and humans.

In addition to the We All Live Downstream exhibit, Saugeen Conservation has offered a portion of their popular exhibit The Watershed Adventure, to be on display along side the We All Live Downstream travelling exhibit
being featured in the Museum’s Ontario Power Generation Feature Gallery.

The Watershed Adventure was a hit last fall at the 2008 IPM. This is also a ‘hands-on exhibit’ where visitors can take a journey through a simulated model of the human body and find out how water is used in our bodies, as well as the function of water in our day-to-day lives and learn about the value of clean water to our environment and to ourselves. This exhibit was created by and is on displayed courtesy of the Saugeen Conservation, Grey-Sauble Conservation and Maitland Conservation.

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is located at 33 Victoria Street N., Southampton
