Nicholas Playford learns what medieval punishment was like

Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre has been developing school programs for students throughout Bruce and Grey Counties.

On Tuesday, March 3, the Grade 4/5 class from Normanby Elementary School in Ayton took part in the Medieval exhibit at the Museum learning first-hand what life was like in medieval times.

They had the opportunity to don medeival dress, explore the arts and music of the times and learn how the people of the medeival period lived. They also learned about the knights of old and how the majority of people were considered peasants.

The hands-on interactive exhibit that is on the school curriculum, has proven to be one of the most popular for students.
