There were a group of about 10 volunteers today under the guidance of Chairman Larry LePage and past Chairman Gord Webb. Thead Seaman, Southampton Ward, Council Member who has managed the restoration job was on hand to haul big loads of debris to the dump.
Things to be done are painting of the top in Lighthouse Red and whitewashing the cedar on the outside. As can be seen in the before picture a lot of work has been done. (To review the process fast backward )
In the future a solar powered light for private navigation will be installed to aid boaters at night when then enter 'The Gap"
