Saugeen Shores Firefighters and new community partner, Delores Sullivan,
Owner of Sisters On Huron, turned out Tuesday to kick off the 16th
Annual Lobster Fest hosted by Barbara Ribey, Director and Curator of the

The Fest takes place July 11th at North Shore Park in Port Elgin and
features live entertainment and a Surf 'n' Turf menu in a lakeside
setting. The lobsters are flown in and arrive at Southampton Foodland
the day before the event for the ultimate in freshness. Seating is limited and the event has always been sold out in the past. There are two sittings, one at 5:00 p.m. and the second at 7:00 p.m. The monies raised from this popular lakeside event go toward future Museum exhibits and development.
