Lighthouse Bill brings his Jack Russell with him on the boat, her name is Mia and she waits patiently for him every day, she is quite a little sailor.

We were out on a tour the other day and I noticed Lighthouse Bill in a very relaxing pose outside the top of the tower. Interestingly enough there was a group of people inside the tower and they got an unexpected sight with the three men outside.

The 'mushroom' like vents on the top of the light are clearly visible.  There are 12 of them.  The Lantern Room has an exit door that allowed the 'Keepers' to get outide and clean the windows.  The device on the left attached to the red rail is the solar panel that powers the light.
