The Kincardine Venturers are holding their annual fund-raiser, selling Christmas trees at Home Hardware. The trees have arrived, and Scotch Pine are $35 each, while Balsam Fir are $40 each. All money goes toward the Venturers' program. The Venturers are on site to help with loading the trees during evenings and weekends, but the trees are available to purchase anytime the store is open.

Also, Kincardine Home Hardware is supporting the Bravery Hearts program. When children begin their difficult journey with cancer, they are given a cord with beads that spell out their name.

As they undergo harsh treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, they receive plastic or wooden beads to mark these milestones.  The children wear their beads proudly. The necklaces document and honour the experience of their cancer treatments, enabling the children to tell their unique story in a tangible, visual way. The necklaces become precious keepsakes, marking each child's brave journey.

You can buy Bravery Hearts necklaces and bracelets at Kincardine Home Hardware. Proceeds from the sales go to support this bead program at the Sick Kids Hospital.
