Kincardine Council rejects sale of road allowance in Tiverton
By Liz Dadson

Town  Council Kincardine

(continued)

Kincardine council has sided with its building and planning committee, and not the public works committee, and agreed to retain the extension of the Patterson Street road allowance, south of Manse Street in Tiverton, and not sell it off.

The public works committee recommended the road allowance be closed and sold to allow for access to a property and the future development of a single-detached dwelling.

However, the building committee said the adjacent landowners could enter into a limited service agreement with the municipality and continue with their plan to build a home there.

Council agreed with that recommendation.
