Have to Do With A Museum in Summer? The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, located in Southampton, is hosting an exciting lineup for their 2009 KidZone Summer Discovery Day Camps. The camp, scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday - June 30th to August 27th will provide children with the chance to make friends, explore, learn and have fun all at the same time. Each day includes a variety of crafts, games, tours and projects geared towards children ages 5-12. Each day is a new adventure! Day camps are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of this program is $26 a day for non-members and $20 a day for museum members. Lots of games, a visit to the Living on the Land exhibit, and Dinosaurs Invade Bruce County robotic and roaring exhibit, crafts from long ago, and a chance to bake sugar cookies. During the second day camp on July 2nd, the theme is School’s Out and it’s a fun day which includes heading to the beach for sandcastle building; a search for shells and fossils; a dino egg hunt and archeological dig.
