 Explore the history of Bruce County’s taverns. Travel the back roads stopping at historic taverns, some long gone and others still open and serving their customers on October 17th from 1 pm to 7 pm.

You will hear stories of these popular gathering places that welcomed travelers in the good ole’ days! This first time bus tour has been created to showcase these community-gathering places and offer a fun day away for the adults of Bruce County.

The bus tour includes the following historic locations and stops:


Tour begins at:

1. The Walker House Restaurant - Bus pickup is in Southampton at 1pm in front of the Walker House

2. Formosa – Formosa Brewery tour and tasting then stops at the following locations…

3. Chepstow

4. Dunkeld – Dunkeld Restaurant for tasting.

5. Paisley

Return to Southampton – Walker House Restaurant – Optional dinner

Note: Dinner available at final stop – but is not included in the tour price.
