Historic Queen Street book launched at Walker House

Heritage

Marlene and Bill Pace sign copies of "Historic Queen Street, Kincardine"

Bill and Marlene Pace of Kincardine were busy autographing, and talking about the printing of "Historic Queen Street, Kincardine," during the launch of the book's new printing, Saturday afternoon, at the Walker House.

The couple wrote the book which is a collection of the series of heritage write-ups about Kincardine's downtown buildings. These stories were posted in the appropriate locations during the 2008 Kincardine Reunion. Bill Pace, an unofficial historian of Kincardine, is well-known for his interest in the town's past and has amassed a fantastic historic picture collection.

The series is now available in book form for everyone's research and enjoyment. The book can be purchased at Books and Beans, Condor Fine Books and Fincher's.
