The Kincardine Nimrod Gun Club wants Huron-Kinloss to help put up
a fence on the unopened road allowance between the gun club property
and the adjacent Green Acres Campground, on the 12th concession. |
"We're not asking you to pay the whole shot," said McGinnis. "It could be a three-way agreement," said mayor Mitch Twolan, "including the campground, the Nimrod Club and the township." "You could run it along the tree line," said McGinnis. "The idea of the fence is to keep the children out." Council agreed to have the gun club come up with a cost estimate for a fence and then work from there. Twolan said when he toured the gun club property, he was impressed with the safety factors already in place there. |
