For some, Good Friday is simply a day off work but, for others,
it holds more meaning.
Members from church congregations in Southampton and Saugeen
attended four Good Friday services - Saugeen Welsey United Church,
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, St. Paul's Anglican Church and
Southampton United Church.
As part of the ritual of Good Friday, those attending the services
walked from one church to another following the Christian symbol of
the cross, in recognition of the walk that Jesus Christ made before
his cruxifiction and death. (next column)
