If you're looking for dinner and a show, stop in at Gilley's Feed Lot in downtown Kincardine. Not only will you get high quality food, but top-notch entertainment - all home-grown. Owner Pat Christie is more than pleased to have three chefs in his kitchen who take pride in the food they serve. And he has taken great strides in acquiring local products, where available, to use in those meals. The hamburgers are made from Murray Johnson's longhorn beef, produce comes through the Grey Bruce Local Food project, cheese from Pine River Cheese, organic chicken is raised in Ontario, and the grains come from Desboro, including noodles, barley and legumes.
A lot of the food is homemade and every Thursday will be Chef's
Feature Night with a new creation for patrons to try. Come in and relax in the warm and cozy dining room, the glassed-in patio out front or the outdoor patio and get ready for some richly-talented local entertainment. August is Festival of Friends Month:
Come in early and pick up your tickets for only $10 each. So, stop in for that dinner and a show at Gilley's Feed Lot, 832 Queen St., Kincardine, open Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to close.
