Bruce County is currently undergoing the beginning of a new signage strategy, including gateway signs.

Huron County's gateway signs, as evidenced in Teeswater and Wingham, are very substantial and constructed of brick or stone and include many plantings.

One of the areas of contention regarding signage in Saugeen Shores is the gateway sign for Southampton and the possible elimination of the community's slogan ... 'Oldest Port on the Bruce Coast'.
