The Fotherby home, on Blanchfield Road in Southampton, is known to
its owners fondly as the "House that Jack Built".
The home, a custom-built two-storey family home of over 2,600 sq. ft.,
has a lake view. The main level includes a large kitchen with hardwood
flooring and a cozy eat-in breakfst nook with large windows overlooking
the back yard. A large formal living and dining room are perfect for
entertaining and the family room, also on the main level, has a built-in
gas fireplace. From the family room, garden patio doors lead to a large
inviting deck.
The second floor has three spacious bedrooms with a walk-in closet in
the master. The upper level also includes a large main bath with Jacuzzi
tub. Garden patio doors from the second floor foyer lead to an upper
deck with a fabulous view of the lake.
Christmas time at the Fotherby Home if family time where they have
hosted family dinners for 34 people or more.
This year, as part of the Christmas Home Tour, the home will be
decorated by Scent with Love with product provided by Port Elgin Home
Hardware. Tickets ($15 in advance, $20 the day of) for the tour are

The tour takes place November 20th and 21st with all proceeds going
toward the Regional Integrated Accessible Playground to be built in
Southampton at Jubilee Park and also in support of the "Let's Play
Campaign" and the Tara Curling Club.
