Director says Queen's Hotel documentary failed to convince politicians

Despite concern from city politicians and some members of the general public the demolition of the oldest section of the historic St. Mary's High School appears to be a foregone conclusion, leading Queen's Hotel Blues director Graeme Bachiu to wonder if local officials have learned anything from the fate of the historic hotel.

 "We had hoped that the documentary would help open people's eyes, specifically local politicians who have the power to protect pieces of our heritage," Bachiu said recently. "Unfortunately it seems like they don't have the will.
