"The wall will be all-natural stone," he explained, "and all the
material used will be environmentally friendly and under Ministry of
Natural Resources guidelines. We are just waiting for the utility
locates to be done and then we'll start work right away, as we are
required to be finished by September 30th. Once we get started, it won't
take long as we'll be using blocks that weigh about six tons." Jayne Jagelewski, Manager of Recreation and Culture says that, while construction is on-going, the east trail will be closed at the bird pens and the entire lower area close to the wall will be closed until the work is completed. "If anyone wants any further information, they can contact Dave Burnside, the head of Engineering for the town at 519-832-2008.
