Dianne Crosetta, RN
MediSpa Director
Dianne has been with Breakwater Laser Medical and Drifting Sands Spa
for five years, but has been in the Medical Aesthetic Industry for over
seven years. She has trained with one of the top Botox and Juvederm
Instructors in North America. Talking with her, she explains that she
loves the ‘art form’ of Botox, fillers, and cosmetic vein sclerotherapy.
"When people leave feeling better about themselves, it's very
rewarding."

Danielle Santin
Medical Aesthetician
Aesthetics Manager
Danielle Santin is a Certified Aesthetician and skin care therapist
with Dermalogica. She is well versed in the aspects of beauty including
skin care, aromatherapy, hot stone and relaxation massage. Danielle has
been working in Aesthetics for over eight years now. She has also taken
courses for Advanced Skin Management, Microdermabrasion, and Laser
Safety Training. "I love what I do, and I like the social aspect of
being with people every day.”

Kirstin MacLeod
Certified Aesthetician
Kirstin MacLeod is a Certified Aesthetician and skin care therapist
with Dermalogica. She is experienced in all facets of aesthetics
including manicures, pedicures, facials, make-up, body treatments and
massage. But, her favourite areas are make-up artistry and gel nails. "I
always like doing my friends' make-up and it's something that I never
tire of."

Crystal Sweeney
Certified Aesthetician
Crystal Sweeney is a Certified Aesthetician and skin care therapist
with Dermalogica. Crystal graduated from London’s Elegance School of
Beauty. Today as an aesthetician, she provides full-service aesthetics
including manicures, pedicures, facials, and make-up artistry. Her
favourite…facials. "I've always been interested in make-up and skin
care; this is all I have really wanted to do.”

Bobbi Johnston
Bobbi Johnston started out at Lambton College in law enforcement but
soon realized it was not for her.
When she change to the Massage Therapy program, she knew instantly that
it was something she wanted to do.
"It was a very in-depth three-year program," says Bobbi. "Many
dropped out but I loved it. " The students were also required to
study anatomy, deep massage, sports injury massage and Swedish massage
and, today, she is a fully qualified and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
"I have clients who are as young as 11 and into their late 70s.
Part of massage is to find the right technique for the individual."
Over three years, RMTs are required to acquire 30 continuing education
courses, adds Bobbi. She now works out of two salons, Drifting
Sands Spa in Southampton on Wednesdays and Thursdays and one in Wiarton.

Drifting Sands Spa staff are committed to ensuring guests experience a

Owned and operated by Dr. David Billings and Dr. Chad Burkhart, the Spa
centre, located in Southampton, was designed to meet complete aesthetic
needs of today's woman or man.

Dr. David Billings, MD CCFP (EM)
Dr. Billings completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree
in 1996 and Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000 at Memorial University in
Newfoundland. He then went on to complete the Residency Program of the
Canadian College of Family Physicians with an additional year of
Certification of Special Competency in Emergency Medicine at Queen's
University. He is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, Ontario
Medical Association, Grey Bruce Rural Medical Society, Canadian
Association of Emergency Physicians, Canadian College of Family
Physicians and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Dr. Burkhardt and I, still work as family physicans and also in the
Emergency Department at Southampton's hospital. With regard to the
Breakwater Laser Medical Clinic in the Spa, we both saw a need in the
community where individuals wanted to look and feel their best and we
felt that, part of helping them do that, would be to provide therapies
and services dedicated to that end."

Dr. Chad Burkhart, MD CCFP
Dr. Burkhart completed his undergraduate Bachelor of
Science degree at the University of Guelph in 1995 and his medical
training at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He then went on to
complete the Residency Program at Dalhousie University in 2002. He is a
member of the Canadian Medical Association, Ontario Medical Association,
Grey Bruce Rural Medical Society, Canadian College of Family Physicians
and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
While medical aesthetics play a major role at the Spa, the staff also
offers a wide variety of services, that make everyone look and feel
better, in a relaxing, serene environment.

The moment you enter, you are greeted warmly by the Spa’s
receptionists: Carrie Burke and Linda Kloosterhof, who are extremely
knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to choosing products or
services. "We love all of our guests, and when they enter our Spa we
treat them as we would treat a guest in our home.”
