Proposed changes for the two local Tourist Trailer Camps in Saugeen
Shores were made official at Monday night's council meeting.
Among the changes are:
- the immediate removal of any trailer over 19 years, if and when
sold
- any resident wishing to sell must acquire an Agreement to Sell
from the Camp Office
- Camp supervisor must approve posting of any for sale sign or
sale negotiations or trailer viewing
- Trailer can be transferred to an immediate family member once
only and permission must be obtained from the Camp Manager or
designate
- Any trailers 20 years or older, sold on site, must be removed
immediately
- Campers who choose to sell privately or through a realtor must
remove the trailer immediately
- A 5% commission sale fee less the Agreement to Sell fee is
payable to the municipality

These are only a few of the new changes and a complete
listing is available through the town offices.
Mike Myatt, Director of Community Services, said that a notice of
changes will be direct mailed to all permit holders to make them aware
before spring opening.
