The Chantry Island Cham-bettes of Saugeen Shores have joined forces with the Tara Curling Club to create one of the most extensive Christmas Home Tours in the region.

The tour will feature 11 homes throughout Saugeen Shores and Tara, some of them historic heritage homes and others modern, but all with unique features. The majority of the homes are being decorated by many interior designers and florists throughout the area, each lending their skills and expertise for holiday decorating ideas.

Proceeds from the tour will go to the "Let's all Play" campaign that encourages families to become active together in physical outdoor activities and the new Accessible Playground at Jubilee Park in Southampton.

The tour takes place Friday, November 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, the 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets/Guide Books are available at various locations, including, Mills Home Hardware-Tara, Joannie's Fashions-Paisley, Nicholson Design-Owen Sound, Denomy's TV and Appliance-Chesley, Cathy's Flowers 'n' Treasures-Port Elgin, Bayberry's of High Street in Southampton, Becker Shoes-Port Elgin and Square Deal Neil's TV & Appliance Centre-Southampton. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on tour day.
